How To Stop Wallpaper Scrolling Android

Only wondering if anyone knows if information technology'southward possible?
Thing is, I have the windy weather live wallpaper taken from a Galaxy S3 and although it's great, I would rather it didn't scroll when sliding dwelling house screens (it doesn't on the S3).

I would rather non use a launcher app to practice this equally information technology seems overkill but I have tried Nova and Noon just they both have big issues on the N7 (Nova has a strange wire frame box thing when scrolling and Apex has a honeycomb/tablet style persistent search bar that I tin can't change).

In noon, you demand to go to: Apex Settings >> Homescreen Settings >> Hibernate Chemical element >> Show Persistant Search Bar. You won't be able to remove it similar you would a normal widget.

Yea but I want the persistent search bar, just that I desire the Jelly Bean way one like stock N7 instead of the weird one
if I disable information technology and add the widget information technology's merely no the same. Not that I'm OCD or anything...

Well, I don't accept my Nexus vii yet (), simply the apex one looks pretty darn identical to the Jellybean i to me. You can switch betwixt the ICS and Jellybean style search confined though, so if yours is fix to ICS that might explicate why it looks different. The option to switch styles is just below the ane I mentioned in my terminal post.

The screenshots look identical and virtually of it does once running, just that weird search bar.
The option to change search bars only applies to the widget y'all can add, not the persistent one.
Nova launcher looks identical to Jelly Bean and has the "proper" search bar but the wire frame box thing seems to affect a few Nexus 7 users otherwise I would go for that.

Yes, that looks how it SHOULD look but it'south not how it looks on the nexus. I tin can only presume information technology is running differently on the nexus because it'southward a tablet, I dunno.

Right, gotcha. Yeah, you're right, it must be acting differently because it knows it's on a tablet. That'south a shame.
Unfortunately I'm all out of ideas then. I don't call back you'll have much luck trying to get the stock launhcer to do what you lot want if it doesn't take the pick already built in.

Maybe it would be worth shooting the Apex or Nova devs an email about your issues. I imagine nova would work out a ready if that graphical event is widespread.

Nova IS brilliant but for the wireframe box. It has been mentioned in an xda thread that it is a issues so it's unlikely paying for the full version would solve it.

You'll be glad to hear that the beta version of the new update has the Noon loading the telephone UI (with the search bar style yous want) on the N7.

It lets you fix the wallpaper in place besides, although I didn't endeavour a live wallpaper.
